About The Community Workers Hub
We are passionate about supporting the people and organisations working at the heart of our communities. We believe community work is the backbone of social change — and those doing this vital work deserve access to tools, training, and support that are practical, inclusive, and grounded in real experience.
"Community work is the backbone of social change — and those doing this vital work deserve better."The Community Workers Hub
Founded by a community sector professional with both lived and professional experience — because the gap between policy and practice is real, and someone had to do something about it.
At The Community Workers Hub, we know firsthand the challenges frontline workers face. From vicarious trauma and burnout, to navigating complex systems and advocating for clients in crisis — we've been there. That's why we're committed to building the capacity of individuals and organisations through services that centre care, accessibility, and social justice.
We are strong advocates for trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally safe approaches. We believe that good practice is inclusive practice — and that systems should work with people, not against them.
Through our consulting, training, and advocacy support, we help organisations embed these values into the way they work, lead, and care. Whether you're navigating a complex policy environment, developing your team's capability, or seeking support to strengthen your practice — we're here to walk alongside you.
Everything we do — from course design to consulting — is rooted in a set of values we hold deeply and return to constantly.
We honour frontline knowledge and lived experience as genuine expertise. The people closest to the work understand it best, and we design everything with that in mind.
We are committed to creating resources and services that are genuinely accessible — practically, financially, and culturally — for people across the community sector.
We cut through jargon and deliver support that is grounded, clear, and tailored to your actual context — not adapted from corporate training models or generic frameworks.
We believe in caring for the carers. Sustainable community work requires organisations and individuals to invest in their own wellbeing — and we make that possible.
We ground all of our work in a commitment to human rights, social justice, and the belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and equity.
Every service we offer is grounded in trauma-informed principles — recognising the impact of trauma on individuals, teams, and organisations, and responding with care and safety.
Whether you're a grassroots organisation, an individual practitioner, or a team leader building capacity — The Community Workers Hub is here to support you.
